Benefits of Glass Edging

  • Standard Polished by our straight line or double edge machine produces a fine smooth flat polished edge suitable for all frameless glass panels.
  • Bevelled edges are processed with out specialty machinery at various angle depending on glass thickness. They are suitable for mirrors.
  • Mitred edging is processed by our specialty machine where a 45 degree angle is required.

we offer different polishes that can enhance your edgeworks even more. Flat polishes go right to the edge of the glass while pencil polishes go around the edge to create an all-over glossy look. We can help you decide which one would work best for your edgeworks depending on the final application.
A bevelled edge gets cut and refined to fit into a specific size and angle to deliver a precise, polished look. The glass is thinner along the edges, and the centre stays the traditional glass thickness. Our team flat grinds the glass edges and then runs each edge along a belt to eliminate chips and get rid of the sharpness.
The mitred edge is very popular with furniture glass. Our team cuts two slabs of glass to a 45-degree angle before seamlessly joining them together. This gives you the impression that the glass is thicker than it actually is. You see it on waterfall islands, countertops or in custom sinks.
